Christian Study

Fun & Fellowship - 2nd Thursday of the month from 9 a.m. to noon

Come and enjoy fellowship for the whole morning or just for an hour - whatever works for you.
These are days we work on quilts and put together Health Kits, School Kits, Layettes, Sewing Kits, etc. for Lutheran World Relief; see the women's book for a list of the materials needed for these projects.
If unable to join use on these mornings, perhaps you can help by bringing some of the needed items to the church office for others to put together.

Nursing Homes - various times

• Help with bingo and provide prizes (prize suggestions listed in book)

• Provide short programs and music

• Host auxiliary meetings

• Put on birthday parties

Work Groups

You'll notice in the back of the book a list of work groups consisting of the members of Bethany.  This is the list used when we need help/food for meetings, bloodmobiles, Abben Cancer Center, funerals, and other activities.  Thank you for your cooperation if called upon to do this part of the Lord's work.

Our hope is that you will find a place within Bethany that you enjoy and where you can use your special talents - a way you can have fun while doing the Lord's work.  Contact someone on the Women of Bethany leadership Team if you  have program ideas, are able to help at the nursing homes, or have any questions.
